They were European videos imported and reformatted for U.S. VHS players by Carl Schultz some years ago. Since they are no longer offered, I don't believe I would be hurting TGM by dubbing copies for you. I really don't like copying anything Carl still has available new since he indicated it's a break even proposition for him to offer the stuff. Can't wait for the offerings on DC, even if it means waiting a

HAD A LONG CONVERSATION WITH CARL THIS AFTERNOON ... HE POPPED INTO THE BALTIMORE STREETCAR MUSEUM LIBRARY WHEN I WAS WORKING. TENTATIVE SCHEDULE FOR FINAL PITTSBURGH TAPE MAY BE 2005. HE CLAIMED THE SNOW TAPE SHOWED HIM THAT THERE WERE A LOT OF PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO WANTED STUFF OTHER THAN PITTSBURGH!

REGARDING THE BLUE TRAMS ... THANKS KEN, BUT I ALREADY HAVE A COPY. NICE STUFF. WHAT I WANT TO SEE ARE FRITS VAN DAM'S ORIGINAL MOVIES...
MAYBE NEXT JANUARY I CAN STOP IN THE HAGUE WHILE ENROUTE FROM ZURICH TO MOSCOW. YES FOLKS ... A WINTER VACATION IN MOSCOW AND ST. PETERSBURG!!!! (Insignificant proof that railfans are nuts.)

That trip is still on the books. Fifteen days and I'm outta here.

YOU MAY BE LUCKY. I'm reminded of Bill MIddleton's comments about a fan club in his home town, whose meetings he never attends. Is it standoffishness or sanity? Take your pick. I think I agree with Bill's choosing his friends.

> There is at least one other one in town, but I will probably cause him bodily harm if I ever meet him. He likes to go the main library, go through their collection of traction books (Donated by a well meaning widow some years ago) and tear out the full page photos. What a selfish jerk!
