Good Morning!

Not necessarily *Answers* to the questions below but observations
pointing that direction. What's the prize?

	1. Why use cut-backs for the Team Tracks?
Did they need that much space?

Switchbacks were common RR usage for spotting equipment - don't know how
much of this was originally the narrow gauge RR. And in the days of
double-end trolleycar equipment, switchbacks saved space/expense in
building loops or adding an additional turnout to connect to another
track. *Economy* is a one-word application/answer.

	2. Where is that track marked with the red crayon going?
Another map indicated a strip of land curving back
around and over the tunnel belonging to PRCo.
Assuming that is P&CSRR tracks is it heading for
		a mine or another incline?

Not necessarily going anywhere without additional information. Could
simply be part of the switchback for the RR. Isn't the RR defunct at this
point? RR Operations thru Overbrook did not last long after the
interurbans started operating there.

	3. What year would this have been? The map is dated 1927.
I don't see the High School that was built in 1919.

4420--4423 (ex-trailers) debuted originally in 1911 and 1913, 4200s debuted
in 1914 - beginning of low-floor era, and all double-end low-floors built
by 1917 (group from Beaver arrived in 1923.) I see a *possible* rather
large building directly above the trees and directly above the admin
building. So another question is - when did SHJ get low-floors? Seems
to be pretty close to 1919 if not after (unless that bldg. is Not the HS!)

When were the Liberty Tubes built?

According to pg.335 of Lorant's Pgh. book (2nd printing), the bridge was
opened 1928.03.27 - this same info is Not listed on pg.480 under a
Chronology of Events where April-1 is the first listing for 1927.
Apparently the *tubes* were already there when the bridge opened; don't
have time to search in more detail for tube opening.
Interesting aside -- Nov-1926 "Double-deck trolleys, declared too
dangerous for Pgh. were abandoned."

	What year is that truck?

Very Old Now!
