None of the PCC Interurbans sported CANONSBURG etc. in the late
1950s UNLESS it was a sign from a personal collection which was
installed. But it was not native to the cars. Twasn't on the City
cars, either.
While the interurbans were segregated during their PRCo--life (Is
There Life after PRCO??(:->)) the signs were changed out to include
local lines. On rare occasions (heavy snows) interurbans were found
in service on other lines sporting the correct destination (route)
signs!
