FYI     #3010 commited harikari on an El. support on a deadhead move off
the Tremont St. line where most of that series ran . Running down
Washington St. past the first entrance to the Arborway the car hit an
open switch lined for that entrance with the first truck hopping  over
the switch point and the rear one turning left  and throwing the car
sideways , left side first  ,into an El support that the jct had in the
middle of it . Striking the car in the left side door  and  the result
was an injured motorman and a U  shaped PCC !!   I have a pix of this
but no copier to send to you , John.  Car was canabalized then scrapped
