	Have a timetable for 6-,8-,10-15-,13-lines dated 1959.02.22 -- can't get
too much later 1950s!!(:->)

6-line on front and big bold letters near the bottom say: "Night Cars
via Route 19" 6-line is quite a diverse line in this time period. Here
are notes for the 6-line schedules:::::::

† These trips signed "Brighton-Emsworth." This started 6.38-PM IB from
High Bridge Loop and 7.01-PM OB from 6tn//Penn--Weekdays and similar
evening times on Saturdays and ALL Day Sunday.

‡ Night cars via Woods Run, signed "Western-Brighton." These trips were
at 1.32-AM, 2.32-AM, 3.32-AM, 4.32-AM 6th//Penn Weekdays and somewhat
similar Saturday And Sunday.

** These trips are signed "Brighton-Avalon." These trips were at 1.01-AM,
2.01-AM, 3.01-AM, and 4.01-AM Weekdays from 6th//Penn and very similar
Saturday and Sunday.

* These trips operate to Manchester Car House Only.

Sunday for the 6-line has the following disclaimers::

"ALL TRIPS EXCEPT THOSE MARKED ‡ AND ** ARE SIGNED
"BRIGHTON---EMSWORTH."

TO SUMmarize: Weekday base service on the 6-line was 20-minutes; rush
hours every 8-10-minutes. ALL PM service as well as all day Sunday was
6-13; Owl service was 19-6 and 6-14!!

Further Quotes:::::::

	"ROUTE 13 ROUTING CHANGE"
"On Weekday and Saturday evenings and all day Sundays except where
indicated, all trips operate via Route 6 over Brighton Road in both
directions between California Avenue and Wynhurst Street (High Bridge Loop)
and the North Side. Cars are signed 'Brighton--Emsworth.' When this
combined route 6/13 operation is in effect, Route 15 provides service along
California Avenue between the High Bridge Loop and Brighton Place.
Transfer between 6/13 and 15 cars may be made at the High Bridge Loop."

AND....... Here it is!!!!!!!.......

	"ROUTE 15 WEEKDAY SERVICE"
"NIGHT CAR CHANGE: Effective with this schedule, the comgination
Route 15/6 night car service is discontinued. Instead, Route 15 night car
service will be confined to California Avenue, the normal routing, rather
than Brighton Road. As a substitute for the 15/6 night car service, Route
13 cars will operate over Brighton Road in both directions. This Route
13/6 combination service will also operate weekday and Saturday evenings,
and all day Sunday."

The change in the 15/6 back to the 15 was made to keep service on
California Street when the 13 was thru routed on the 6-line!

Looking at the 10-line schedule it reveals that the 1.34-AM, 2.34-AM and
3.34-AM trips inbound from West View Park go directly to Keating - only the
2.02-AM trip goes thru to downtown as a 10-line car and leaves 7th/Penn at
2.32-AM. The first car out of the barn in the AM goes directly to town at
4.50-AM - this is about a 2.5-hour gap. Now that is very interesting
because the 15-line cars leave downtown every hour starting at 1.04-AM and
it takes them 30-minutes to get to the end of the 15 or beginning of the
10-line, so WHERE does that 2.02-AM car come from that goes downtown as a
10? The 6- and 13-lines are working out of Manchester!
Thus, it seems that the 15/6 service or the 15 owls operated to Keating
and return except for a couple. The 8-line had all night service and this
makes more sense than all night service down East Street where population
was much more sparse.
Now, could it be that the 15- and 8-lines were thru-routed for the owls?
It would seem that the schedule would say so. Interesting to note that
the 13-line displays different running times for Weekdays, Sat, Sun, and
Night cars whereas all the other lines have one running time listing common
for all times.
At any rate, with a 30-minute running time for an outbound 15-car and with
these Owls leaving every hour from 1.04-AM til 5.04-AM AND with 8-line
inbound crs leaving at 1.34-AM and every hour thru 4.34-AM, is it possible
that the 15-line could make it from 6th/Penn to Keating in 30-minutes on
the Owl to be an inbound 8-car? Or did both the 8- and 15-lines loop
Keating and return on their own lines?
