At the risk of branding John an easy mark (not, I think, a valid label!) 
I'll let drop the observation that a few months ago he threw in a copy 
of "TTC '28" for an amount so low that I'm embarrassed to quote it, 
as part of an already modestly priced private sale of books to me.

At the time I hadn't even heard of the book        :o}          nor 
certainly had any idea of what I probably would have had to shell out 
for it in the used book market, let alone eBay.
