Yep.  The brown spots from the motorman coming down the hill too fast from
Eldora Summit would be farther back in the car and usually on the seats.

By the way, there was a 50 miles per hour speed restriction on that hill.
Reason given in thetransportation department order was "passenger
complaints."  Just goes to show that the 3700s, 3750s, and 3800s were a
little faster (top end) than a PCC even if they didn't have the same giddy
up and go.

For what it was worth, one of the men at Arden talking about his father (I
think it was Tony DeSensi but it may have been Crouch) told of a late night
trip from Pittsburgh to Washington  to ferry a car.  Dispatcher advised
nothing on line so don't both to report back until you are off the line at
Tylerdale.  The story has it that the man made the trip so fast (owing to
no meets or street traffic) that he had his lunch and two cups of coffee
down in Washington before he had the nerve to report off the mainline.
