Dennis,

Try an 8X loupe.  Last week I got an e-mail from someone asking about the
words on a builders plate on a locomotive photo on the website.  My 4X5"
photo print  shows the entire locomotive, but by using the 8x loupe I was
able able to read the words on the 10" builders plate.
