Within a week the portion of the new traction (trolleu) line from 
Charleroi to Pittsburg, running from Pittsburg to Castle Shannon, was to 
open to the public.  The Pittsburg Railway Co. was operating the Mt. 
Lebanon line to Castle Shannon and planned to continue that until the 
regular suburban service began through to the end of the new line.
