Greetings:
    I spent the day at PTM and while there had a chance to visit with Ron
Beal for about 45 minutes.  He is coming along quite nicely with his 3
volume set on Pittsburgh Railways.  The cover designs are quite ingenious
(that's all I am going to say about them for now as they are still mock-ups
in progress) and he has done an incredible amount of work.  Each volume will
be quite hefty.

    He is in desperate need of any image of a PRCo Birney car.  If any of
you know of any image, please contact me and I will get him in contact with
you.  He is not online and has no email address.

    He is very close to going to press with his first volume and needs this
to complete the section on Thornburg.
