This is a new one, and has some interesting items: Clearview Loop and
Dormont Wye are as we knew them, but Castle Shannon was quite different.
The map shows each individual track and switch, and stops are shown on the
interurban lines. I find of interest the Railroad St. heading south from
Castle Shannon. Original Pittsburgh and Southern alignment??

I went a little further back in time. The 1905 southern Pittsburgh plat map
to be exact. I found that Railroad St. ran parallel to the Pittsburgh &
Castle Shannon RR right at Fair Haven. Fair Haven looked to once be a main
station for the P&CS, hence the name Railroad St.? Another note of interest
from the 1905 map. Just south of what the map refers to as Smith's Station(
Smith Stop on the Overbrook line), there is a plot of land that is labeled "
Mrs. Emily Smith". Was Smith Station named after her or her husband? Who was
this Emily Smith? I know I'm digging deep, but just curious. Gosh, I've been
looking at these maps for 2.5 hours now. Break time! Thanks for the URLs for
the plat maps John S. and Derrick! Very interesting. Also noted that the P
&CS did not join the Pittsburgh and Charleroi south of Castle Shannon. It
looks to be just a stump siding.
