	That  IS  the 1949 look on the front skirting   ---   this  IS 
how the  PRCo--1700--series was built.   Back to the 1936
skirting but much more gently curved in 1949.   Tow--pin is
exposed and ready to use   ---   easy to get to.

	Compare to photos  *PCC From Coast to Coast*   pg.172 top;  
pgs.174-175 top;   pgs.176-177.

	PRCo always had a characteristic bend in the trolley pole  -- 
this appears normal and  *may*  be somewhat distorted by the
background.
	Wheels required a Minimum of 30-pounds at 18-feet while shoes
required a minimum of 25-pounds  --  this  *may*  contribute to
the arc in the pole.
