To the best of my knowlege, no streetcars were harmed in producing
the East Busway.

Rather, half of the The Broad Way, the four-track main line of The
Standard Railroad of the World was used from Wilkinsburg to Dahntahn.

I'm not sure just how far east the East Busway goes, so I'm not sure
what if anything it does beyond Wilkinsburg.

It would, however, have been a simple matter to extend the western
end a few blocks, which would have brought it onto the northern end
of Try Street. I can't imagine why they neglected to do that.
