Very logical answer. These days we get our information off web sites and
from direct e-mail. I understand the ERA is only publishing about twice a
year. It isn't hard to come to a conclusion that the ERA isn't around.
Furthermore, the ERA (at least as long as I was involved), never sent copies
of their publications to the Library of Congress along with a copywrite
application. By not doing so, I suspect they may have lost rights to their
own work without a long and protracted and expensive appearance in a Federal
court. .
