Not many. The West Busway services were added before the Fort Pitt project
began, and any runs affected by the detours might add a mile in 1
direction only. How many runs a year are there?

I still feel that:
-building busway to the west at a per-mile cost that could have put down
rail in any other city says we made a mistake
-building it not all the way into the city was another mistake

And to a lesser extent:
-having the west end streetcar lines (with their PRW) intact would likely
have resulted in this mistake not being made, at the cost of the project
that brought the West Busway probably still being delayed, and so slower
service to the airport than we have today.

Well, they had to sell utility choice with savings, and this was how they
made it happen. The big win for me, at least, hasn't been utility choice;
It's been Duquesne Light's sale of their nuclear plants, and recovery of
stranded costs. Gas still jumps all over the place, but my electric bill
dropped to about $55 monthly. (I have at least 2 computers always running
in my house, incidentally.)
