Harold: The last time I was in Puerto Rico was with my father,who was in the
Army Air Corps , in Jan 1941 and he was stationed at the airfield there. My
brother,mother,et al were there until evacuated off with the rest of the
dependants after Dec 7th. Saw a lot of small steam operations amongst the
sugar cane fields, where the narrow gage took carloads of cane away to the
sugar factories. A pix of downtown Ponce showed trolley track remnents , but
small buses running in their place. I was six then, but the RR bug had
