Overhead south of Simmons still there for Both Inbound and
Outbound. Frog visible as is trailing switch inbound.
Outbound tracks to Charleroi clearly cut to allow for loop.

YES.

Said photo caption actually reads::
"""PCC_1701... at McChane, north of Riverview..."""
The photo shows 1701 on double track and steel mills and smoke
clearly visible in the background beyond the trees. The Only
McChane on the half-dozen maps I have is immediately south of the
Allegheny County Line ---- steel mills would not be visible
from this McChane (have seen this spelled McChain, McClain,
McClane and possibly a few others.) The Only Riverview on my
maps is at the loop, north end of the Donora local, and
"...north of Riverview..." at this location is
*single--track.* This photo actually looks to be near Eldora
Land Office or Log Cabin on the double track just north of
Bridge_#3.

First stop north of County Line Siding - next stop north is
Orchard and then Cremona siding. Tom Phillips gave you copies
of maps that I provided to him and ALL the stops on the 2-lines
are shown.
Photo caption pg.124:
"""On downtown Diamond Street, a PCC probably on the way to
Wilmerding or Swissvale is passing under the Diamond Meat
Market..."""
Cars bound to Wilmerding would not pass here -- 87-line!
The bottom photo caption on pg.125 says: """The motorman is
relaxing outside...""" but he is Clearly In His Seat talking to
someone outside his window!!!
Photo caption top of pg.126 says 1165 is ready to head into the
tunnel when in fact it is heading the opposite direction on the
48-line. Interesting that the back track behind the admin
building clearly shows a turnout for connection to both inbound
and outbound 44- and 48-line tracks to Warrington in this
1949.07.04 view.
