I think most people are kind hearted, until you put them into a steel box
on rubber tires and then many wonderful people behave as if they have
immunity, immortality and anonymity.
My favorites are the British, who will queue up for anything until you put
them in a car, then you need laws to make them do what they would do
naturally on foot. But they do a much better job of obeying laws than
Americans. Americans seem to be unusual in having an attitude that we do
nothing wrong until we get caught.
