The design patent for the carbody was issued to Dan Bell of Pittsburgh
Railways.

Don't ever forget that a Pittsburgh Railways employee was responsible for
the basic body design in St. Louis. That may have had more to do with the
seating plan for Pittsburgh PCCs than we realize.
