and P.S. to what I wrote. The Liberty/11th/Penn/12th street loop was still
in operation after the East End route abandonments. Often, I would see cars
in front of Buyer's Mart (on 11th street) labelled CAR HOUSE. This was as
recent as 1968, 1969.
