I fogot to add that Hite's Perrysville Avenue store can be seen in the photo
of PRC 1791 on the cover of  Harold Smith's "Touring Pittsburgh by Trolley"
book.

Also, after the North Side Market House closed in 1966, most of the stores I
mentioned (Schlosser Meats, Olga's Used Books, Hite's Drugstore and Doll's
[prouncounced "dole's"]) moved to new locations on E. Ohio and Federal
Streets.  They all eventually disappeared after Allegheny Center expanded
north of E. Ohio St.
