Greetings
When in Gibsonia, you might consider going up to Mars on the B&O.

Thanks Harold! I'll take that under advisement. So many things to see and
so little time. I may be coming up to PTM at end of April for their Annual
Banquet. But that would be just one weekend. Perhaps this sometime this
summer. I'm still wanting to come up in the winter to retour the PRCo
interurban lines with no foliage to block one's view.
For those of you on
this list that are PTM members, I will quote a reply of an e-mail I sent to
Scott Becker. I deleted the e-mail but copied it. S.B. states "You may want
to reserve Sat. April 26th. We are having a special Open House that day to
showcase work on Red Arrow 14 and the East Site Progress. That night we are
having our Annual Banquet and are featuring a special slide show on the
Washington and Cherleroi interurban lines that quit 50 years ago- 1953. A
flyer will be going out in the next Trolley Fare. "
As I just can't seem to
get enough of the interurban lines, I am trying to keep that date open and
very much wish to attend. As I have not lived in the Pittsburgh area for 20
years now, how is the foliage that time of year? Are the trees still bare?
Would love to kill two birds with one stone and retour the interurban lines
if the foliage poses no problems. Thanks everyone for the directions to
Gibsonia! Mark Mc
