I have to admit to surprise that there would be anybody on the 'net who hadn't 
encountered this type of hoax already, it's been around so long.

But I have in the past few months received the alert four times or so from 
intelligent, well-meaning friends. After they had rushed to follow the 
instructions and delete files on their hard drives.

So, here is the rule: If you are instructed to pass this on to everybody in 
your address book, hurry, no time to waste, IT IS A HOAX. Without exception. 
Full stop. That is not how legitimate virus alerts work.

Please, pass this on to everybody in your address book. Hurry, no time to 
waste.

Now, if you will excuse me, I have to get back to my Nigerian investments.
