Greetings!
Forgot to mention that *after* the 3-cars made the trip to County
Home Siding, DE, High-Speed, Low-Floor 4393 was sent down to pick up the
crew and bring them back to the Burgh. Too bad that 4398 wasn't
chosen for the service!!!!!!!

Good Morning!
PTM used to sell slide sets that included color shots of 832 on this
fantrip move. Has been MUCH discussion about that move here
before. PERC Members who rode 832 to Ingram first rode to Charleroi
Car House on 4921!!
Also, on Sunday 07--February--1954, WP-832 along with 3756 and M1 ran
under their own power out the Washington line to County Home Siding
where they were boarded up by PERC (PRMA, PTM) members ---- in
spite of the fact that operation to Drake started 30-August-1953 and
nothing ran revenue service to Washington after that!

This was a museum car. It was purchased from West Penn and trucked to
Charleroi from Connellsville. As the closing date for the Charleroi
division neared, the car was run to Ingram for further storage.
Naturally it was a great excuse for a fan trip.

Hello all,
Check out the following photograph. Anyone know how the West Penn car
ended up on PRC trackage? The date of the photograph is May 10. 1953.
I have, for the moment, forgotten the Charleroi lines closure date.
(Note that the PCC has "Shannon-Charleroi" in the destination window.)
And I have also forgotten the date that West Penn 832 was moved to
Arden, and under its own power, yes?
