Latrobe quit a week before the main line. The fantrip cars went as far as
Calumet and were photographed on the trestle there.

Yes it did, shortly before the Main line and other rail operations. The
last fan trip on August 10, 1952 I believe was able to travel out part of
the
Latrobe line to one of the trestles
