Pullman Trolley Car Silver Palace Co. Lamp

This is a very impressive and authentic looking Pullman Trolley Car Silver Palace candle light fixture. We don't know if candle lamps like this style were originally used in trollies, offices, trains, or mounted on stage coaches. They remind me of the type that is usually associated with the railroad however. One normally saw them mounted in the caboose or Pullman passenger cars. Anyway it is a full fourteen inches tall and is very easily mounted to a vertical surface with the attached bracket. The top and glass globe then pulls off to accept the candle.  The brass fixture uses some type of spring lifting device to keep the candle within the glass globe but I am unsure how it is supposed to function.  

An attached brass tag reads: PROPERTY OF: PULLMAN SILVER PALACE CAR COMPANY No dings, scratches, or dents on this light and it appears to be quite functional with a beautiful patina overall. This would be a very impressive piece to display on your office, cabin,  or home. Any cleaning or polishing will be left up to the high bidder. Sold as a collectible only.
