My cousin in Greensburg, who is a roller coaster fan, just sent me the following information on West View Park:

Some of the old West View amusement park was purchased by
lumber magnet Knoebel family and was moved to their family
amusement park in Danville, Pa. The entire Danville amusement
park is salvage from parks that went defunct and the Knoebel's
have put brass tags on everything in their park showing the
origin. I remember that the hot dog grills (the ones with
the rolling cylinders) at Danville are marked as being from
West View. The Wild Mouse also came from West View. The
Danville roller coaster is a good woodie that came from San Antonio
- all the lumber was marked, torn down and rebuilt - it is
named the Phoenix and is one of the top coasters in the USA.
