Greetings

His good work for Pgh continued into the 1960's

When he built the US Steel Bldg, he moved other out of town
offices to Pgh to fill the building. Quite a jump start for downtown.

He contributed the efforts several high officers of his various companies
to help PAT. Fritz Close of Alcoa and Bill Henry of Gulf Oil spent a
lot of time with PAT.

In San Francisco, Mayor Feinstein had lots of help from the business
community..especially Pacific Bell, PGE and TransAmerica.

Col Rockwell was another good guy for Pittsburgh. I ended up
escorting him to the Army Missile range in Texas for a week.
Quite a man.

We may have lost this type of dedicated person.
