All that for a lousy Charlie Dengler contact print! He's certainly
self-important, isn't he?

Subject: [PRCo] THE UGLY AMERICAN
Now here's a guy who deeply offends me - someone named Roger L Keyser who
eBays under the moniker prr-historian. Anybody know this joker? He offers
prints, including Canadian subjects, and refuses to take bids from anyone
who does not live in the United States. Here's a link to his typical
diatribe (and it's Pittsburgh, a 616 print, so it's relevant at least to the
list. Maybe he doesn't like Chretien, the Prime A**hole, er, Prime Minister
(that would actually endear him to most Canadians who don't like the grand
poobah of the weasel clan either). What, the world stops at the 48th
Parallel (lower in the east!). Often Americans list stuff on eBay and just
forget to tick the box that says they'll ship outside the country, or
specifically to Canada. If you ask politely if they'll ship to Canada, 997
times in a thousand (list of the other 3 morons on request) it's "sure, no
problem at all." Many America sellers don't like the extra postal hassle,
but we Northern American!
s are used to that ripoff and just accept it and pay more.
Maybe I should put in my ads that I'll only ship to Canada and all those
nice folks in the USofA who buy my San Francisco and Pittsburgh and Boston
and Podunk can go kiss my grits. But no, I jest.
I wonder if he'd sell to my wife who has dual US-Canadian citizenship if I
sent him a copy of her passport? Just wondering.

Official end of diatribe.
