Greetings to Fred and every one

I am not a social worker and have no political interest.

Pennsylvania and other states does have a problem of shifts in the
economy. You find it in Scranton as well as Fayette County. And
in West Virginia and elsewhere. Northern New York state also.

Indistries change. Technology improves Mines and factories
close. Russia and China are faced with the problem also.

Do we just wipe these places off the map? The people who live there
are good people. There is ample infrastructure and schools. Can
we just walk away?

I had direct personal contact thru the National Guard with men from
these areas. I know people who gave their life to Westinghouse
and now its gone. The West Penn and PRC became victims of
these changes.

Perhaps we need aid and training programs instead of Aids in Africa.

Your comments.
