I went to Chicago on the Pennsy too.  I think it was 1942 or 1943.  They had
steam engines in those days.  I can remember very little of the trip ...
being on the train, yes.  We were going to her cousin's wedding.  I also
remember Mom having to leave the church because I was making too much of a
fuss.  Some things never change, do they.  (Better I say it than suffer the
indignity, etc.)

You said 1967, Ken?  That was forever. Gosh, I was teaching school then.
Experiences horribillus.  Glad I left that job.
