Following is a post that I made to the Fallen Flags website http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/lightrail/prc-m11.jpg
It's a 2-1/4" transparency from my collection, location unknown. My caption:
Pittsburgh Railways Co. operated the very first PCC car (number 100)
delivered to a transit system. PCC 100 started running in Pittsburgh just a
few days after being built in June, 1936. By 1949, PRC had bought 666 new
PCC cars. In 1950, PCC 100 was converted to an instruction car (M11), and
it survived until 1967.
Can anyone identify the location of this photo?
