Here's what Ron Beal has to say about it in his new book:

"Constructed by the Ardmore Street Railway Company in 1907.  PRCo never
liked this facility and assigned only some 87 Ardmore and 62 Trafford
cars here.  The location was useful as an emergency station.

"PRCo wanted to sell the property after World War 2 as real estate
values skyrocketed in this area.  The building was sold and converted
into a roller skating rink (1950) and the overall property was developed
into a shopping center."

Is this an accurate description?
