I was talking to Railroad Avenue Enterprises last week about an order the
shop I work for was placing and I requested his latest trolley photo list. If
you search out West Penn and Pittsburgh photos as I do you have probably
reviewed their lists over the years and purchased from them. Good photos and not all
that expensive.
There are about 27,000 photos of railroads and traction currently listed, and
they just acquired over 30,000 new negs from 2 collections (not mentioned
whose) that include
Pittsburgh and West Penn. In total he has about 70,000 negs. It will take
well over a year at the current pace to organize, list and make available
these new photos, but it is something we can look forward to.

P.S. Some nice shots in the new 2004 calendar from the museum. Since Fred
S. and I are the same age I hope 832 does get running before he dies (his
request) so he can operate it and I'll ride it. I think 839 from Wheeling Traction
(Co-Op 39) is making progress at Seashore, another curved side car. After
hearing it was almost done, I later heard the body is finished, interior being
worked on, and proper trucks under it.
