Well, at least we know M212 was built upon a similar chassis to M211
since both frames were from the same St. Louis Car Co. series.
M211 may have looked more along the lines of  old line car M131, (box
motor style), but this is only a guess. I was only age 4 at the time it
was scrapped, so I wouldn't have any recollection of that car anyway.
Just trying to get some idea of M211's appearance.

I moved to Millvale in 1956 and recall seeing M282 still at Millvale
yard with boom lowered,
and all overhead power had been cut from the site. 
Too my knowledge, Bob Rathke's photo of 282 is possibly the best shot
you'll ever see of this particular car. It wasn't too long after when
the Rte 28 bypass was constructed, and passed right on through where the
car house and yard property was located.
