I'm trying to put two and two and three and one together and get eight (but, as
we all know, eight isn't a guaranteed answer).
The Lehigh Valley Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society ran a
fantrip on July 22, 1956 using car M-11. Charlie Houser was an active member of
the chapter. The trip did run over the interurbans. I have a picture of the
car facing northing in front of the crew office at Castle Shannon. The sun was
shining that day. The picture for sale shows M-11 facing north on the
interurban between Castle Shannon loop and Martin Villa Stop, Castle Shannon.
Therefore (the sum) this picture was probably taken on that 1956 fantrip.
