Not direct. Change trains in DC. DC Union Station is interesting, and
there's Metro service all over the area as well.
Amtrak comes up the B&O and stops downtown. The stop in McKeesport was
annulled about 10 years ago (at the transportation center on Lysle Blvd;
The old B&O station and that alignment are long gone, so the
frequently-pictured streetcar grade crossing there is also unrecognizable)
Despite the T servicing Penn Station from Steel Plaza you're unlikely to
be able to use that connection when you get here, even if late night
transit service does still exist then. John can say what he likes, I still
blame Rendell. His emphasis on switching from property to income taxes for
funding schools is a wash for me now, but will be a slight lose when my
wife becomes employed. I'll be paying more; Wonder if I'll get more? I'll
guess no.
