When Overbrook opens where will there be to hike? I guess you mean "not on
the Overbrook line, but you'll be here anyway"
I'll hike. I should just make sure to have the right shoes; No point in
muddying up another pair of dress shoes (though I seem to wear those out
about every 5-6 months anyway)
I have hiked down the hill toward Black Diamond Junction, aside from the
obvious right of way "plateau" there's nothing left (not surprising as it
was almost 50 years out then)
I have walked about very little on the 56 right of way out in West
Mifflin, but most of that is very passable, not much challenge.
I walked down in from the hill above Dunbar toward BoWest, not a whole lot
to see there either (the ex-PRR line the West Penn crossed on the first
bridge coming from Connellsville is entirely gone)
That's about it (as far as trolley lines around here; I've hiked out to
several mainline railroad sites to take pictures), so I'm up for other
things.
