When you get here we may be able to find the Street Railway Journal
article on the subject.  I've got 54 reels of microfilm ... you might be
able to find it fairly easily because they did a good job of indexing
them.    The article in question predates the PCCs ... it was begun when
the yellow cars were most common.   I don't know that I have anything
that will tell you what items on a PCC failed at what intervals.  They
knew because they had the records.
