Anything can be done with enough money and time. Pittsburgh had a slew of
cars with abnormal braking schemes. However, by the time this became an
issue, the county was in charge. They immediately fired all the engineering
people. No need for them because bus manufacturers have their own
engineering people! I don't think they ever cared whether a B2 truck on
the interurban produced a rough ride. Certainly they never fixed the rails
... one of my friends and I used to kid around that PAT bought their rails
pre kinked.
