Can't have a stop at Glenbury ... there is an elevation difference. The new rebuilt car tracks are half way up the
cliff between the busway and the old Pittsburgh and West Virginia Railroad. It's a failsafe system ... buses and cars
will no longer be permitted to collide. Of course buses will still be allowed to plow into buses, and LRVs into LRVs.
I've not seen a list of how many stops disappeared ... logically most of the stops north of Glenbury should be removed
to speed up the car service with buses making the intermediate stops. PRC never had a whole lot of business there. In
fact I never remember being on a car that stopped to pick up a passenger at any stop north of Oak. That is an early
suburban area dedicated to the automobile ... car washes, quick change edifaces for car oil changes, drive in this and
drive in that ... not something that people go to on the trolley. And there are very few houses in the valley in that
area ... they sit on the hilltops.
