It's off topic again, but 1053 is (was?????) St. Louis Car built.
I cannot imagine a PCC running at 60 mph (96 km/h) on tangent
level track. Maybe on downgrade, yes. It might bring damaging
results for traction motor armatures. Balancing speed is about 42
mph or 68 km/h, safe speed (regarding motor armatures)is 50 mph.
