It only takes a little common sense, doesn't it, to figure that work can be done really fast when a man is on the clock! In the case of Banning, EHL and I struggled with that one for six months until he found several buildings intact in the early 1990s. I had discounted it because I thought Banning was farther down the hill. In the case of West Penn ... the builders photo of the 800 (see page
72 in CERA bulletin 80) was also taken at Banning. (And before someone asks, let me clarify that Cincinnati built the trucks and bodies and West Penn added the electrical gear and air equipment at Connellsville, and then ran the cars over to the Allegheny Valley.
