Definitely understand Ed's frustration -- have been very
tempted to make the switch myself -- and may yet do so.
However, are Macs safe from a virus attack?
Simple answer: NO
Why: Imperfect World. Macs are not now attractive to hackers
since Windows commands the field -- why mess with 3% of
computer users when you can get the attention of the 97%?:(
And even with Macs we would still receive all these bogus emails
from MS, letters returned, etc and SPAM which still needs to be
dealt with. The virus attached to the MS letters would not
affect the Mac but the email still comes thru.
