Looks to me as if you probably read your email online through Netscape - the 
same thing as I described as "online at my ISP website."

By contrast, my mail reader goes online for me to retrieve messages, and I read 
them offline. This cuts down dramatically on my connection time - of no 
consequence to those with constant high-speed connections.
