Not all Nike sites were in unpopulated areas. There was a Nike site right
beside the Shoreway (Cleveland's version of the Penn Lincoln Parkway), just
west of downtown Cleveland. And there was a Nike site about 6 miles from
our home here in the Chicago area; the concrete bunkers are still right
beside the highway (U.S. 45).
