The PTM Library has PRCo's track sketch books which would chronicle the
evolution of the track arrangement here. But it could take a couple hours
to research, which unfortunately I don't have available right at the moment.
Aren't you in Pittsburgh, Matt? Perhaps this is something you could dig out
by coming down to the Library. After the 29th!

I was totally at a loss when I saw those West End Circle drawings in the
book without word one of description.

I'm almost sure we also have something about Plummer Street CH, though it
may not be much.

Subject: [PRCo] Ron Beal's Vol. 1

Hello all,
To those of you who have seen Ron Beal's Volume I of Pittsburgh
Railways, I am confused about the drawing of the West End Circle track
layout. Please forgive me as I don't have the book in front of me at
the moment, but I clearly recall that the drawing shows outbound tracks
coming up the ramp from Carson and BOTH inbound and outbound tracks
turning left to reach South Main Street. Meanwhile, an outbound track
continues on as we last remembered around the circle, onto Steuben
Street and around the back to South Main Street.

Does anyone know if this was ever a configuration around the Circle?

Also, regarding the Butler Street Car House, there is much written and a
photograph of it, but not anything regarding the Plummer Street Car
House, which I believe was far larger and just a block away. Did I
miss something?

Matt
