Friday only car stops, or at least signs for them. I know where there were
synagogues.
Mt Sinai Medical Center in New York has "sabbath elevators" which stop at
every floor without the need to touch a button on the sabbath only, but I
will confess to not being all that curious about it. Perhaps someone else
is.
