A lot less tax than in western Europe!!!   Now I have a clue why, when I drove
through the old Czechoslovakia, they required tourists to buy gas stamps at
inflated prices at the border ... they obviously didn't want people from Germany
crossing over just to fill up gas tanks.  fws
