I can answer #3.  I lived just off of Logan Road and Bethel Church Road, a
short walk from the 36-Drake line.  There was serious flooding in the Logan
Road area in 1972, and again around 1977.  Roads were closed and basements
flooded, but I don't recall that these floods affected operations on the
Drake line.
